The Department of Journalism, City, University of London is delighted to be a preferred partner with the Aziz Foundation which offers scholarships to students from the UK Muslim community.
Value: Full fee waiver
The number available: Up to 9
Year of entry: 2022/23
To apply for this award you should wish for Candidates who wish to champion inclusion and diversity in the media.
- You must have applied to a taught master's program at the Department of Journalism, City, University of London.
- Be eligible for Home fees status
- Be active within a Muslim community and demonstrate intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities
- Demonstrate a long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain
- Show how the course will increase their effectiveness in one of the following areas relating to British Muslims:
- Be able to demonstrate that you come from a low-income background and require financial assistance to undertake Masters's study.
A successful scholarship will only be granted if you have an offer of a place on a designated taught Master’s course.

The application cycle will run from 1st April to 11th July, with awards announced in late August.
