• Must be classified as an international fee-paying student and self-funded.


• Must progress directly from the University of Essex International College.


• Must hold an offer to begin a full-time undergraduate degree in October.


• Must be among the top six students based on first exam results (no resits).


• Award applies to the first year only.

You are not eligible for this award, even if you meet the criteria above, if you:

• are required to re-sit;


• are studying International Year One courses;


• have deferred to a different academic year of entry.


• are fully or partly sponsored.
