Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship

The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship Programme is the first scholarship of its kind in Wales and is funded by the Global Wales Programme – a partnership between the Welsh Government, Universities Wales, The British Council, and HEFCW, funded by Taith.

Bangor University is proud to be part of this scholarship scheme.

3 scholarships are available under this scheme through Bangor University.

 

 

Eligible Countries:

Study Level:

 

Postgraduate Taught – A one-year Masters's course studied on a full-time basis beginning in September 2023. Please see a list of our September entry masters courses here.

 

 

How to apply?

 

Step 1: Check your eligibility for the scholarship and carefully read the conditions.
Step 2: You will need to have submitted an application to study at Bangor University before your Global Wales Postgraduate scholarship application can be considered.
Step 3: Complete the application form on the Study in Wales website. You will need to include your University application number with your scholarship application. Applications submitted with invalid application numbers will not be considered.

Note:

• This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship offered by the University.
• If you are awarded a scholarship, you agree to act as a good ambassador for the Study in Wales brand and at times will be asked to participate in events or promotional activities. Any involvement in these activities will take up no more than five hours per term.
